Our calibration laboratory was established in year 2009 as part of our improvement plan to further strengthen our support to customers in the South East Asia region. Our objective is to provide shorter turnaround time and savings from transportation costs which proves to be an issue that needs to be addressed based on feedback from our customer. We started the calibration laboratory activity offering traceable manufacturer's calibration for some of the conducted immunity test generators covering EFT/ Burst, Surge, Power Fail & Automotive Transients. Over the years we extended our scope to cover calibration of more standards test requirements.
In 2011, we decided to further improve and work to obtain 3rd party quality recognition by getting our calibration laboratory accredited according to the intenationally recognized ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. The Skim Akreditasi Makmal Malaysia (SAMM) was chosen to accredit our laboratory. SAMM is recognized worldwide thanks to the ILAC-MRA agreement. After 3-years of hard-work and perseverence, we were finally accredited on the 11th February 2014 by Department of Standards Malaysia under their SAMM accreditation scheme. Our accredited laboratory is now ready to perform calibrations for all manufacturer's of conducted immunity test generators and the following is the scope that we covers;
